Owner

Hello, my name is Mallory, and I’m 27 years old from Covington, Louisiana—though most people know me as Mal. I am the proud Owner of the Louisiana Ladies and have been passionate about dance since the age of six. I have been a part of the vibrant Mardi Gras parade tradition since I was eight.

Beyond dance, I have a deep love for Disney, enjoy staying active, and am committed to giving back through community volunteering. I founded the Louisiana Ladies with the vision of creating a supportive sisterhood rooted in empowerment and positivity for women from all walks of life. I am incredibly grateful for the amazing women on this team and the meaningful friendships we've built. Together, we’ve formed not just a team, but a true sisterhood and tribe of inspiring individuals.

Coach/Choreographer 

 Hi! My name is Alyssa Arnold and I am the Coach/choreographer for the Louisiana Ladies Dance Team. Along with dance I am a high school art teacher, photographer, and artist! Dancing has been a passion of mine for over 20 years, and if it wasn’t for dance I wouldn’t be where I am today. Whether it is on a stage, field, or in a parade dance is my outlet and a way to express myself. With being second in command my goal is to inspire each member to bring positivity, self-love, and confidence to not only us but to yourself. I am a strong believer in anyone can learn to dance no matter the background as we are here to have fun! With this team I hope to show women everywhere that they can achieve anything they set their minds to. At Louisiana Ladies, we welcome everyone no matter who you are with open arms, and I can’t wait to see the amazing individuals who will join our sisterhood!

Hello! My name is Monique, and I’m proud to serve as the Co-Captain of the Louisiana Ladies. Originally from Folsom, Louisiana, most people know me as MoMo. I’ve been dancing since the age of four, and it has remained a lifelong passion and creative outlet for me.

In addition to dance, I’m a proud enthusiast of all things Star Wars, Marvel, and DC—a true pop culture nerd at heart. Professionally, I’m currently building my career in the marketing industry, where I enjoy exploring the power of storytelling, branding, and connection.

Joining the Louisiana Ladies has given me a true sense of belonging. It has become a safe space, a second home, and a source of inspiration through the incredible women I’ve met. I’m excited to help bring joy, energy, and positivity to the Northshore community alongside my Louisiana Ladies family.

Administrative Duties 

Hi, my name is Charlotte, and I am from Baton Rouge. I'm happily married and a devoted dog mom, as well as a foster mom to pups in need. I’m also a 15-year cancer survivor, and I strive to live each day with gratitude, laughter, and purpose.

I’m a big fan of iced coffee, singing in my church choir, and listening to crime podcasts. Some of my favorite moments involve driving with the sunroof open, music turned up, or relaxing at home binging shows with my husband. And while I may be known for my terrible jokes, I like to think they add a little extra joy to the day!

What I love most about being part of the Louisiana Ladies is the genuine support and sisterhood we share. It’s a place where women truly lift each other up, and I’m honored to be part of such a positive and empowering group.

Event Corrdinator 

 Hey! I’m Colleen and I have been a member since 2022 and was honored to be nominated for leadership in 2024! I always loved dance as a child but lacked confidence in myself. Now as an adult I have gained that confidence through my experience with this team. I have a wonderful husband and fur baby (Drew) at home. I am a Radiology technologist doing X-ray, CT and MRI. I love my family and career. This team has given me so much friendship, kindness, and confidence to exceed in all aspects of life. 

Attendance 

Hello, my name is Tracey. Though I’m originally from Kenner, I’ve lived in various places along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, in Galveston, Texas, and in Boulder, Colorado, before settling in Mandeville. Dance has always been a passion of mine, even though my formal training is limited. I’ve found ways to incorporate dance into my life throughout adulthood, and it continues to be both a creative outlet and a source of stress relief.

I’m a proud wife of nearly 25 years, a mom to a 20-year-old son, and a fur mom to two lively one-year-old cats. Currently, I’m a homemaker and a small business owner. In a previous chapter of my life, I worked as a chemist with the Environmental Protection Agency and also served as a substitute science teacher.

What I value most about being part of the Louisiana Ladies is the team’s inclusive spirit and the belief that anyone—regardless of background or experience—can learn to dance. It’s a joy to be part of a group that celebrates positivity, growth, and connection.
